                        Sealed quotations are invited from authorised person for supply of the Desktop Computers with minimum following configuration to be purchased for the office of the Commissioner, Central Excise & Customs, Nagpur :

Terms & Conditions

 

  1. The Price Quoted should be on par or less than the DGS&D Rate Contract Rate Price.

 

  1. Quotations are invited from authorized dealers or manufacturers. The quotations should be addressed to the Joint Commissioner (P&V),  Central Excise & Customs, P.B. No. 81, Telangkhedi Road, Civil Lines, Nagpur 440 001 and should reach latest by 23rd April 2009 and should be marked “Quotation for PCs”. The rates should be inclusive of all taxes.  

 

  1. Details of local "After Sales Service Facility" including name, address, contact Nos., etc. should also be mentioned in the offer.

 

  1. Quotations will be considered for items of lower configuration than are specified above will be summarily rejected. Rates must be shown in figures as well as in words. All alterations in the rates should be signed in ink otherwise the quotation/tender will not be considered. In case of any variance between amount quoted in figures and in words, the quotations will be summarily rejected.

 

  1. The quotation should be signed by the authorized person and his full name and status should be indicated below his signature.

 

  1. The quotations should be valid for at least 3 months. The delivery period would be 4 weeks from the acceptance of offer and issue of order. For any delay in the supply of goods by the specified date, a liquidated damage of 0.5% of the delivered price of the delayed goods for each week or part thereof subject to a maximum limit of 10% of the delivered price of the delayed goods, will be charged for the number of weeks or part thereof for which the computers is supplied after the specified date given in the supply order. 

 

  1. Quotations received late after due date and time will be summarily rejected.

 

  1. Catalogues/full particulars of the branded computers should also be furnished with the quotation.

 

  1. Computers shall be supplied and installed at the premises of the Head Quarters situated at Nagpur or Divisional/Range offices located at various stations in Vidarbha as per terms and conditions contained in supply order.  The price quoted should be inclusive of all charges such as packing, forwarding, freight insurance, loading and unloading clearance, installation and commissioning, orientations, on the job training etc. Octroi Exemption Certificate, if required, will be issued.

 

  1. Payment against Bill/ invoice shall be released only after supply/installation and observance of satisfactory performance of the PC.

 

  1. Quantity of the PCs indicated is subject to increase or decrease at the discretion of this office without assigning any reason.

 

  1. The vendor should indicate the guarantee period in the quotation. The minimum guarantee period will be three years.

 

  1. While the vendor and the Government shall make every effort to resolve amicably by direct informal negotiation, even then, if any disagreement or dispute arising between them under or in connection with the terms & conditions shall be settled under the Court of Law within its jurisdiction at Nagpur. The resultant contract will be interpreted under Indian Laws.
