The Desktop

are proposed to be purchased for the office of the
Commissioner, Central Excise & Customs, Nagpur :

Terms & Conditions
-
The quotations
are invited from authorized dealers,
manufacturers. The quotations should be
addressed to the Additional Commissioner (P&V),
Central Excise & Customs, P.B. No. 81,
Telangkhedi Road, Civil Lines, Nagpur 440 001
and should reach latest by 18.02.2008 and
should be marked “Quotation for PCs”.
The rates should clearly indicate whether
the same are inclusive of all taxes or not, or
the element of taxes should be shown separately.

The details
about local "After Sales Service Facility" like
name, address, contact Nos., etc. should also be
mentioned in the offer.
-
Quotations will
be considered for the items for which rates have
been quoted strictly according to the
specification. The rates must be written in
figure as well as in words. All alterations in
the rates should be signed in ink otherwise the
quotation/tender will not be considered.
-
The quotation
should be signed by the authorized person and
his full name and status should be indicated
below his signature.
-
The rate of
those item should be quoted alongwith Excise
Duty which can be supplied within the specified
period mentioned in the supply order. For any
delay in the supply of goods by the specified
date, a liquidated damage of 0.5% of the
delivered price of the delayed goods for each
week or part thereof subject to a maximum limit
of 10% of the delivered price of the delayed
goods, will be charged for the number of weeks
or part thereof for which the computers is
supplied after the specified date given in the
supply order.

Quotations
received late after due date and time will be
rejected.
-
Catalogues/full
particulars of the branded computers should also
be furnished with the quotation.
-
Computers shall
be supplied and installed at the premises of the
Head Quarters situated at Nagpur or
Divisional/Range offices located at various
stations in Vidarbha as per terms and conditions
contained in supply order. No other charges
such as packing, forwarding, freight insurance,
loading and unloading clearance, installation
and commissioning, orientations on the job
training etc. will be allowed. However, Octroi
Exemption Certificate, if required, will be
issued.

Payment against
Bill/ invoice shall be released only after
supply/installation and observance of
satisfactory performance of the PC. No interest
will be payable on the delayed supply of the
equipment.

Quantity of the
PCs indicated is subject to increase or decrease
at the discretion of the authority without
assigning any reason.
-
The vendor
should indicate the guarantee period in the
quotation. The minimum guarantee period will be
three years.
-
While the vendor
and the Government shall make every effort to
resolve amicably by direct informal negotiation,
even then, if any disagreement or dispute
arising between them under or in connection with
the terms & conditions shall be settled under
the Court of Law within its jurisdiction at
Nagpur. The resultant contract will be
interpreted under Indian Laws.

The submission
of the tender shall be taken as the implied
acceptance of all terms and conditions
stipulated herein.
